Amazing a la carte catering!!! Ordered 3 items and every one of them was delicious. The quality was excellent and every person at the party asked who made it and I am sure that they, too , will be using Tuscany. Good value for the outstanding food and service!!!
My family LOVES Tuscany. Every time I am home I stock up because nothing by my apartment compares. You can't go wrong with Tuscany whether you are running in for a sandwich or you are catering a party. I love their stuffed rolls and pasta salad dishes. If you go in in the morning, you should take whatever they're bringing out from the back. There is nothing like a fresh prosciutto bread!
We had placed a catering order for a platter, mixed sandwiches, roast beef, chicken, and veggie. We ordered for 20 people. I picked up the platter and thought their customer service was fantastic, courteous, and efficient. We had placed an order for a gluten free wrap as well, someone had Celiac at the party. Unfortunately, they didn't have that wrap, so the person behind the counter made us a roast beef sandwich (huge) and insisted we shouldn't pay for the plate. Needless to say when people started enjoying the platter at the party, the food had rave reviews by ALL. It was delicious. Not a single improvement needed. Definitely order from them again for our next party.
Solid catering each and every time i cater from them. I've even call the day before at 3 for the next afternoon and they said yes!! We have tried almost every item on the hot menu and ALWAYS order the chicken roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella sub. Perfect!! Just did a luncheon with sandwich platter hot apps tray and salad w goat cheese cruising nuts and pears. Love it.
I love little places like this. A quick, delicious, and convenient way to grab your lunch or supplies for a simple Italian dinner. A few gourmet pastas, homemade jarred sauce, or premade Italians delicacies are always fresh and available. And wonderful loaves of bread! Friendly service - feels like home.
I thought I was back in Old Brooklyn on 18th Ave. I loved this place!!! I ordered food for my daughter's baby shower. I wish I ordered MORE!!! I live in L.A. - we don't have delis like this Sal!!!! Once I heard the music in the deli I started dancing. I tasted some cheese and wanted to carry the olive oil back on the plane! The pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage was so good with a little bit of red pepper. Even my Italian friend who swears she is the best cook went for seconds. The appetizers: eggplant tower with zucchini was great as everyone said: I want some of that! And it didn't disappoint. Antipasto and I can't forget your bread!!!!
I was referred to this place by a friend of mine for catering. I had my Thanksgiving catered here and I'm glad I did! Yes, it is a little pricier than other places you can get things catered at, but it's so worth it! My guests are still raving over the lasagna! I ordered a custom cheese platter very good, lasagna which was outrageous, turkey which was very moist very surprising since it was from a caterer I didn't expect it to be so moist! I ordered stuffed mushrooms which were good, the mashed potatoes were one of the best mashed potatoes I ever had! The mixed veggies were also so delicious! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I didn't care for the stuffing hopefully they can get a different recipe for that, and the sweet potatoes were good but I like mine sweeter it could of used so more sugar. All in all in was a great place for catering, and I'll definitely be using them again! It was worth every penny. I'd rather pay a little more for top notch food. I'll use them again for my next party for sure!
